Te Pae will be a boutique, premium, international meetings and events venue in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island. This world-class facility is set in prime position beside the Ōtākaro Avon River at the centre of New Zealand’s newest city.
Te Pae will host up to 2,000 people, and the tiered 1400-delegate auditorium can be divided to host two events simultaneously. The additional meeting rooms include flexible spaces of varying sizes, across a total of 1,600 sqm. The exhibition hall will easily accommodate 200 exhibition booths, and is divisible into three to suit a range of exhibition requirements.
As a building of New Zealand architectural significance, Te Pae will be a major landmark designed to inspire and connect. Planned with reference to its unique context in Christchurch, the venue is surrounded by green spaces, parks, gardens and the flowing river. Stories of the local iwi and their land, trade and craft are interwoven through every aspect of the design.
Christchurch’s compact and dynamic CBD features modern retail, accommodation, dining, business, leisure and transport hubs, only 15 minutes from the international airport.
